Edit: Here is a little (not so much) story I made up for her

Shaiya, the Dream Lord. She has a universe of her own, the Universe of Dreams. She manages all dreams in the world and the Dream Eaters.

The Universe of Dreams don't have day or night, the one who gave it light was Shaiya. She was born from the desire to dream and to escape. Whose desire it was is unknown but one thing is certain, if that desire were ever to stop, Shaiya would cease to exist and dreams would never become the concept we know today.

Each dream takes a form of its own and no dream is alike, some shines so bright it becomes the light for other dreams, some is just a simple dream. Nevertheless, they're the most precious treasure to human and Shaiya is here to keep them safe.

But of course, dreams also include nightmares. But those are locked in a separate non-boundary space waiting for the Dream Eaters to feast on them. That's why any nightmare will eventually come to an end no matter what. The space takes the shape of a star and is never left a second unguarded because the nightmares have a form of intelligence and can easily sneak out creating havoc if not careful. Shaiya created a red barrier to prevent it in the limit of her power, but sometimes she would open it just a bit to give light to the nightmare, even if it's just a litle ray. The day that star is damaged with just a single crack would be the day every being which dreams fall. But Shaiya is here to prevent that from happening.

The Dream Eaters are creatures which lurk into your bed at night and devour your dreams completely, no matter what kind of dreams they are. But certainly, Dream Eaters would prefer sweet tasty dreams over the tasteless bitterness of nightmares. They had been tamed by Shaiya thousands of years ago. They are now under her supervised and help her clean up the nightmares. Unfortunately, there were a group of them that managed to escape from her, even mated with each other to produce off-springs (wut?) and evolved into a more dangerous race which not only do they devour your dreams but also the colors in your eyes which holds your emotions and everything that made up you psychologically. You'll become an living doll. Shaiya feels that she is responsible for this and that's why she has been protecting humans and every living creature who dream from these Dream Eaters with the help of the Dream Eaters who are now loyally following her.

With that said, she is NOT a Dream Eater herself, she is the Dream Lord who rules over them.

I WORKED HARD ON AN TRADITIONAL PIECE! WHAT MADNESS IS THIS?!?

I kid, I kid… It just that it's been awhile since the last time I worked with acrylic WHICH I USE LIKE WATERCOLOR LOL (Save supplies that way, not much on water :T )

But it's the end of summer vacation now so I figured I should do sth that could give me a sense of accomplishment after all the worthless stuff I drew throughout the entire summer… Need to work on my 5-sec attention span apparently…

I swear the colors looks better irl! D: But since my printer (<= Printer? I mean Scanner) scanner cut off a whole part on the left LIKE A BOSS, it was really hard to edit it in, so I gave up LOL. I also had a hard time editing the colors to match the original, basically, the blue and the purple are supposed to be darker...

Note to self, next time, cut the canvas if intending to scan :T

Story time!

Meet Shaiya (lol name made up on the spot ) She's the dreamlord who manages all dreams in the universe and the Dream Eaters. This is her universe, the Universe of Dreams.

I drew her sometime last week in a P-chat (Remember her, ~ICamXYZ?) and I like her so I decide to make her my OC. This is her child form. Working on her adult form right now, don't know if I'm gonna finish it or not... We'll see...

Don't be fool by her appearance, she's only a few hundreds years younger than the universe as we know. :D

That's all, I guess, I'll explain the concept of Dream Eaters later.

Ps: I will shoot whoever says "OMG! SHE LOOKS LIKE *insert name of character here*!!!!1!!1"
